WINTER BAND CONCERT is TONIGHT December 18, 2023 at 6:00 PM at WHS Auditorium!
A big congratulations goes out to Thea Lyall who “officially” celebrated her retirement this past Friday. 👏🎉🥳 She’s not planning to teach full-time this year, but has been helping in a long-term substitute teaching position at SME. Thea has taught for over 35 years, with nearly 30 of those years being here at WSD. Thea’s children are WHS graduates and her husband Charlie was a youth sport coach and referee for WSD athletic events. We wish Thea the absolute best of luck in her next adventure! ♥️🖤

We are having to use an Othello bus tomorrow morning for CB tech so they will arrive at 5:50am and leave at 6:05am. The bus will then travel to Othello to pick up their students and then head to CB tech. Please make sure you are there early so the bus can leave on time.
Don't forget tomorrow is DISTRICT WIDE Ugly Sweater DAY! Come dressed to impress, and show us your Christmas Spirit.

TODAY!! December 13th from 5:00pm-7:00pm we will be having an FSA ID night. This event is only for students who are currently in 12th grade and their parents/guardians. We will have light refreshments. Please review the attached flyers to know what materials are needed to create an FSA ID and our agenda for the night.
Hello Warriors everywhere! FBLA is putting on a WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE to help bring comfort and warmth to people in need. Please drop off gently used or new items (coats, socks, gloves, scarves, and hats) at Wahluke Highschool. There is a donation bin outside room 55. Items can also be dropped off in the office, or you can send a message for pick up (locally). Thank you for your support, please consider donating and spreading warmth and cheer to individuals in need. Happy Holidays.
On behalf of our WSD family, we want to give a heartfelt thank you and farewell to long time employee (31 years) Arthur de Victoria as he turns the page to the next chapter of his life.
Arthur started in the district as a Paraprofessional, moved on to become an Intervention Specialist and has also been our support in the Tech Department. Arthur also was a soccer coach and won 5 State Titles!
Thank you Arthur for your dedication to our students, staff, families and to our community. We wish nothing but joy and excellence on your new journey.
